As you drive across, you’ll get a closer look at the bridge’s impressive structure and learn about its significance in the history of Lisbon and Portugal. 4. After crossing the bridge, you’ll head to the south bank of the Tagus River for a lunch break at one of Lisbon’s iconic restaurants, where you’ll enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine while soaking in panoramic views over the river and the city. 5. Sanctuary of Christ the King: Following lunch, you’ll head to the Sanctuary of Christ the King a monumental statue inspired by Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. To end the tour, we will stop at one of our most famous viewpoints in Lisbon.
