On our return to Hobart, enjoy a brief stop at Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry where you can indulge the senses and browse a selection of hand-made chocolate gifts using the finest Belgian coverture chocolate. On Saturdays, the tour includes a visit to Hobart’s Salamanca Market. Delight in a shopping experience at this popular, colorful outdoor marketplace. You'll have time to explore the market at leisure for approximately 2 hours. Then, you will need to meet your bus at 11:00 to continue on with the Port Arthur tour and get a sense of Australia’s convict era and the early settlement of Tasmania. The Saturday tour does not include the cave tour, visit to Richmond or Chocolate Foundry.

Starting from Murray Street Pier, the cruise heads south to Battery Point and Sandy Bay, passing by the oldest casino in Australia. You'll then cruise across the Derwent River to the Eastern Shore, Bellerive, and Kangaroo Bluff, before travelling under the Tasman Bridge. You'll head back via the Royal Botanic Garden and Government House. The boat trip will take about 1.5 hours, with the captain providing an interesting live commentary to tell you what to look out for. Onboard, you'll enjoy a one-course meal. Choose from steak, crumbed fish, chicken schnitzel or a veggie patty. Kid meal (6-12 years old) are crumbed fish or chicken schnitzel.

Be amazed with what you will learn when taking part in an up-close encounter with 'The Devil' and other Tasmanian and Australian native animals. Stroll the grounds of the sanctuary and hand-feed the animals that roam free. You will have great photo opportunities on this fun-filled day.

You will also pass Victoria Dock and Constitution Dock before you head to the exquisite Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, featuring “The Vegie Patch” made famous by Peter Cundall of ABC's Gardening Show. After boarding your cruise, sail upstream along the river, passing the Botanical Gardens and Government House. Continue to pass under the Tasman Bridge and cross to Rose Bay. Return to Hobart via Montagu Bay. As you sail, hear comprehensive commentary on all the sites you pass and treat yourself to a drink from the fully-licensed bar onboard.

Up there you will have 30 minutes to explore the short boardwalks lookouts or spend your time in the observation and information shelter. Step back in time as you explore Richmond, a quaint little township nestled in the heart of the Coal Valley wine region. Walk the streets of this iconic township which is rich in convict history, sandstone colonial buildings and home to Australia’s oldest bridge, catholic church and oldest intact gaol. A great place to sample some local food and wine, have some lunch and visit the many quaint local art and craft shops. A city loop with fully guided commentary as we drive you around the streets of nipaluna (Hobart). It covers all the important locations and landmarks across the Hobart CBD and beyond. Expect to see Salamanca Place, Parliament House, Cascade Brewery, Female Factory, Battery Point, Tasman Bridge and many more. On Saturday's (only) we will have a 75 minute stop at Hobart's most visited tourist attraction the Salamanca market. With 300 stallholders, the market includes fresh local produce, delicious home grown food and drink and lots of souvenirs, gifts and many handmade products. A true cultural experience.

If you are vising Hobart, or a local, the Hobart City Scenic Flight is a great opportunity to see the wonderful city from a new perspective. Over 30 breathtaking minutes, you will depart Cambridge Airport, fly over the Eastern Shore and cross the Derwent River. You’ll have spectacular views of this beautiful river and its bridges, including the Tasman Bridge, as you track up river toward the world-class MONA and the Northern Suburbs. Fly down river past Mt Wellington, the 1270m high majestic backdrop to Hobart City. In winter, its rugged peaks are often dusted with snow. Next, fly over Hobart City  and the harbor area before passing Kingston, the South Arm coastal community and Clifton Beach, a popular surfing location, on your return to Cambridge. If you live in the city, the pilot will do their best to fly overhead! The aircraft type will vary according to group size.
