JaI had a short trip to Cairo and booked a tour through GetYourGuide, and it turned out to be absolutely incredible. Our guide, Mo Salah (yes, M O S A L A H), was exceptional. His knowledge of Egyptian history was impressive. Not just the basics, but deep insights and fascinating stories that brought every site to life. We visited the Pyramids of Giza, and hearing the history while standing in front of these wonders was truly unforgettable. Mo Salah isn’t just a guide. He is a storyteller, a historian, and someone who truly loves what he does. He shared so much that many others wouldn’t even think to mention. We felt engaged and inspired throughout the tour. Our driver was also fantastic. Kind, professional, and the ride was smooth and very comfortable. Everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. If you’re visiting Cairo, I can’t recommend GetYourGuide enough. And if you’re lucky enough to have Mo Salah as your guide, you’re in for a truly special experience. Thank you!!!!!

I really enjoyed the day trip overall. I particularly liked the fact that it was a private trip in a car – no crowds or large groups. This made the tour very relaxed and personal. The guide and driver were friendly, reliable, and very informative – you could tell that he knew his stuff and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. This meant that we learned a lot about the country, its people, and its culture. The papyrus demonstration wasn't really necessary for me – it felt a bit touristy and forced. But that's just my opinion, of course. All in all, it was a very successful trip that I would recommend to others!

Excellent value for money sleep on mini bus was difficult as very rough/hard suspension. Drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of comfort breaks. Btw 10-20 E£ for toilets. Well worth the journey for the unreal experience of the pyramids
