The tour was definitely worth it! You travel in a real coach that is comfortable, has charging points and air conditioning. Lunch was perfectly fine and even served as a buffet, but you should be prepared for the fact that the Nile cruise (which is not included) is linked to the meal, which means that if you want to eat lunch you should be prepared to pay €10 per person, otherwise you can stay on the bus for as long as you want (approx. 1 hour). There was enough time to look at everything at your leisure and there is even an additional stop at a papyrus factory. The journey is of course a matter of getting used to, I would definitely recommend a neck pillow. :) You can also order a small dinner for €6, which is handed out on the bus on the way back. Lunch is included. It's worth the money! You couldn't have taken more with you from Cairo. It's best to take a few fresheners with you after the 7-hour journey there to freshen up a bit in the morning.

fantastic excursion, it took us a little longer on the round trip but it is absolutely worth it. only flaw: it is a little cold on the bus. they will ask you to put 10€ more for the buffet lunch and the boat transport, the rest is all included in the price. there will also be two pleasant additional stops: one in an oil and perfume shop and the other in the papyrus museum, both will be very quick. upon arrival under the pyramids they will ask you if you want to go in (+30€) or if you want to go on a camel ride in the Sahara desert (+10€), which we did and it was very beautiful. in case you don't want to, you are free to wander around the pyramids. highly recommended! ♥️

It was excellent, but the tour takes the whole day (20 hours), which no one had warned me before, even though I asked about the time I would return to the hotel. Luckly, I had free time for that
