Marcelo was very knowledgeable about the history of Siracusa, from its Greek origins and years of dominance, through its wars against/occupations by the Romans, Arabs, and Spaniards. He is fascinated with archeology and imparted his enthusiasm and knowledge upon us! He spent more than 4 hours with us on this private tour of the important Neapolitan Archeological Park and all of the key sites on Ortigia. The tour was expensive, but well worth it!
