If you've always wanted to try surfing but never have, there is perhaps no better setting than Maroubra Beach. This popular 2-hour beginners surf lesson will give you an authentic taste of the world of surfing, important safety information about waves and the beach, and bragging rights about having conquered this cool and amazing sport.

You will be taught how to safely go out and catch your first wave in a small group setting of 6 students or less. This personalized attention is the best way to build your surf knowledge and confidence while cultivating your surfing technique.

You will be really amazed at how easy, safe, and enjoyable it is to learn to surf. This 2-hour lesson is great for first-time surfers, and also for those who wish to refresh or refine their basic surf technique. Your instructors are fully-qualified and very friendly.

My tutor was very encouraging and positive even though it took me a while to get the hang of it. He gave me a lot of confidence. The group was a nice size and I got along with everyone. I hope to come back and learn some more soon. I was scared he’d get annoyed at me for not getting it right, but he was so patient. Told me where I was going wrong, praised me on what I did right. He was the perfect tutor in my opinion. Thank you for my lesson I had so much fun today and can’t wait to practice more.
