Had a lovely time on this trip. It was just the right length of time and the captain and crew were helpful and knowledgeable regarding humpback whales. We were so fortunate enough to see about 4 pods who seemed comfortable enough to be on the surface really close to the boat. A really good experience.

Crew were lovely and very professional, fast transport out to sea - even though it was the end of season we say two whales! If you’re here during whale season I would definitely recommend! (Although if you’ve ever been travel sick please take tablets before you go as the sea can get bumpy!)

Full description

The 2hr Express Cruise is Sydney’s best value whale watching cruise. Reach the open ocean in only 20min from Circular Quay.

Fantasea Crystal features an air-conditioned internal saloon with Lcd television screens, complimented by copious amounts of indoor and outdoor seating. Fantasea Crystal’s viewing areas are composed of a seated sun deck, covered rear deck and large windows along the internal saloon.

Reaching top speeds of up to 20 knots, getting you from Circular Quay to the open ocean takes only 20min, leaving almost an hour and a half for whale watching.

Snacks and drinks are available for purchase from the onboard bar. If no whales are successfully watched on your cruise, you receive a free return cruise.
