Overall rating
Our guide, Steven, was knowledgeable, patient and ready to answer any questions. It was interesting learn about some of Korea's less recent past. It was good to be able to walk along the walls at Hwaseong Fortress and look at the prettily painted watchtowers along the way. I managed to get from the East to North Gate and back in the alloted time- another 15-30 minutes there would've been nice too. The Folk Village was also very interesting. More time there would have been good as there was so much to see. There were also people demonstrating old village life - tending flower and vegetable patches and making twine.
The tour was outstanding, thanks to its meticulous organization. We had a wonderful time, and our tour guide, Leo, was truly exceptional. He showed remarkable patience and carefully planned our route to maximize our time. Leo also demonstrated impressive knowledge of local events, accommodating a martial art event and ensuring we didn't miss the fortress tour. Furthermore, he identified famous K-drama scene locations, allowing us to capture memorable photos. Leo's expertise is worthy of recognition. Kudos to Leo.
This was a lovely day, Andrew was a brilliant tour guide; very considerate, knowledgeable, and provided a great overview of Waujeongsa. The archery at Suwon Hwaseong Fortress was also great fun! Highly recommend this tour.
Park was a wonderful guide. She taught us alot about Korean history and culture. She was a lot of fun and we had a great time.
Despite the bad weather, which prevented us from completing the tour, we were able to get an interesting glimpse of the site.
