Our driver/guide Patrick was amazing. Told us a lot about the Bromo and the surrounding area. Gave us an excellent viewing point and was definitely a seasoned and knowledgeable driver. i could trust him wholeheartedly knowing we would be arriving safe, even though we were driving in thick fog at one point. Through his expertise of the tour we didn't get stuck in any traffic and were one of the first few to climb the Bromo crater. Which was even more magical since there were hardly others around. We had a great time. Patrick, our guide, was a great driver and guide. Bromo was gorgeous and smoking. Due to Patrick’s timing skills, we were a bit quicker than most, giving us perfect spots before the crowd. Watch out: if you’re tall, the drive might be a bit rough due to little space in the back of the land cruisers. But it was worth every minute for me!

Full description

Join us on our thrilling 4WD jeep ride to Sunrise View Point, where you can enjoy the most panoramic views you have ever seen.
The trip will start around midnight (00.30am) as your driver will pick you up directly from your desired pick up location. Feel free to take a nap in the car as you drive towards Mount Bromo. From there, you will continue the journey in a 4WD Jeep, going through a bumpy road to get to Mount Penanjakan/ Kingkong hill.
Accompanied by a sip of coffee and Pisang goreng (fried banana) to warm the night while waiting for the sun to emerge from its hideout.
Sunrise at the top of Mount Penanjakan summit and revealed the hidden landscape of Mount Bromo surrounding.
Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mount Bromo, in a 45 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mount Batok and the highest mountain on Java Island, Mount Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history.
To complete the day, you will be get a simple breakfast Toast, Strawberry jam, egg, Fruits and a little mineral water before returning to Malang at around 12.30 AM.
