Full description

Let's go explore Bromo mountain and Ijen Crater in East Java. This trip will visit Bromo Mountain that's popular with the Sunrise & beautiful scenenary. For Ijen crater, its popular with Bluefire phenomenon and amazing green lake on top of mountain. With this trip, while heading to Bali, you can simultaneously visit these two favorite places in east java.

In this trip, you will be accompanied by an experienced driver and guide who also can speak English. They will take you and show you best places in Bromo and Ijen. So you can enjoy the trip easily and safely.

To start this trip, we are flexible in terms of pick-up time and place. You can request to be picked up from 10 AM to 11 PM From Surabaya, Malang or Banyuwangi City. For pick-up point, you can request to be pick-up at the Airport, Hotel, Train station or Harbor.

Itinerary #1 (Start Surabaya, finish Banyuwangi-Bali)

Day 1, 10:00 AM, Upon your request
From Surabaya, Drive to Bromo hotel

Day 2, 02:00 AM
02.00 AM, we will take a Jeep to Penanjakan hill to see the sunrise and also landscape of Mount Bromo. After that, we descend towards Mount Bromo by Jeep, then continue hiking to top of Bromo crater.

After breakfast, we will drive to the Ijen hotel that location on Bondowoso city. You will be stay in this city because your trip start from Surabaya. It will takes about 3 hours drive to get there. Around 3 PM we will arrive at the hotel. Take a rest and sleep.

Day 3, 00:00 AM
From hotel to Ijen Basecamp, the trip takes about 2 hour drive. So we will start from hotel around 00:00 AM. From Ijen base camp to get to the top of Ijen crater, you will need about one hour and half by walk.
09:00 After Breakfast, drive to Ketapang Harbor, Banyuwangi to continue by Ferry go to Bali
Arrival time at Banyuwangi harbor : around 10:30 AM, end of trip

Itinerary #2 (Start Surabaya, finish Surabaya)

Day 1, 10 AM - 3 PM, upon your request
We will drive from Surabaya to Ijen hotel, we will need about 5 hour drive to go to Ijen hotel.
17:00 Dinner and have a rest at hotel.

Day 2, 00:00 AM (Ijen tracking)
From hotel to Ijen Basecamp will be need 2 hour drive. So we will start from hotel around 00:00 AM. From Ijen base camp, to get to top of Ijen crater, you will need about one hour and half by walk.
09:00 Drive back to Hotel to have shower and rest, then at 12 noon we will head towards Bromo. Around 4 PM, we will arrive at Bromo hotel, take rest and sleep.

Day 3, 02:00 AM
02:00 we will start exploring Mount Bromo by Jeep. 05:00 We will see sunrise and landscape of Bromo mountain. Then continue by hiking to top of Bromo crater. After breakfast, we will check out hotel, and then drive to Surabaya city, Drop off at train station, airport, or hotel on Surabaya city.

4. The temperature in these mountains are around 8-15 degrees Celsius
5. Bromo Guide will accompany you to see Bromo Sunrise at Penanjakan hill
6. Ijen local Guide, he will guide you to Ijen peak and Bluefire area
7. Availability of Bluefire at Ijen is depend on situation of nature
8. Ijen hiking will be at least 1 hour and half. Prepare yourself by doing exercise before this trip
9. No guarantee for good weather. Sometimes the weather becomes rainy/foggy, this makes the view unclear, you need to wait for a while to be clear again, otherwise you can visit it in another time
10. Group that book for 5 people, Due to limited luggage space in the vehicle, we recommend 2 of 5 participants use 60 liter backpack or use 22 inch cabin suitcase Max 7 Kg.
