This multiday trip will covers East Java's most attractive places. If you are coming from west side of Indonesia, and want to reach the islands next to Java, this tour will make it up by passing the province with exploration to its waterfall and 2 volcanoes. About Facilities: Accommodation at 2 simple guesthouses are included, it's local owned & managed guesthouse for few hours nap, to support local community as well as practicing community based tourism. About schedule & destination: This tour can be started by the first day after early morning train arrival from Yogya. OR by the next morning after late flight arrival from other city or region. With starting time in the morning we will take you 4 hours driving time before reach the countryside area located in south east part of Malang: Tumpak Sewu is a huge waterfall in local language literally means thousand, since thousand in line springs fall down through the 200meter height looks like a big curtain round the cliff. A nice morning to afternoon at the waterfall, will be followed by the volcano activity on the 2 consecutive midnights. At 2 AM of Day 2, Mount Bromo Volcano is located in extra large area of National Park called Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Due to the largest area, we will explore this park by riding a jeep vehicle provided & operated by the villagers around the national park. The main activity in the area will be sunrise witnessing, and hike up the most approachable volcano. Our guide will tell you story & historical things from this area. This second day will be ended by checked you in a guesthouse close to next volcano. Mount Ijen Volcano will be earlier than Mt. Bromo start time, it will truly a midnight start or even before midnight. At 11 PM (23:00) Day 2 to Day 3, Mt. Ijen is located about 2hours driving from the accommodation. You can sleep at the car before arrive in Ijen basecamp. Finally tour will finish at harbor, otherwise you can choose to go back to Surabaya. Also available option for continue with shuttle to Ubud. Note: hours driving time in a day to move from point to point, please bring your extra drinking water and personal snack.

Join us on our thrilling 4WD jeep ride to Sunrise View Point, where you can enjoy the most panoramic views you have ever seen. The trip will start around midnight (00.30am) as your driver will pick you up directly from your desired pick up location. Feel free to take a nap in the car as you drive towards Mount Bromo. From there, you will continue the journey in a 4WD Jeep, going through a bumpy road to get to Mount Penanjakan/ Kingkong hill. Accompanied by a sip of coffee and Pisang goreng (fried banana) to warm the night while waiting for the sun to emerge from its hideout. Sunrise at the top of Mount Penanjakan summit and revealed the hidden landscape of Mount Bromo surrounding. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mount Bromo, in a 45 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mount Batok and the highest mountain on Java Island, Mount Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. To complete the day, you will be get a simple breakfast Toast, Strawberry jam, egg, Fruits and a little mineral water before returning to Malang at around 12.30 AM.

Explore the island of Java by visiting the famous volcanoes on the island of Java, Bromo and Ijen. From Surabaya or Malang to enjoy the spectacular view in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The trip will be started by picking up in Surabaya OR Malang area before onboard in a classic Toyota Hartop. The jeep ride is necessary beside due to the wide large of area we will exploring, it is also because of the steep road, followed by bumpy and sandy trails. So you will reach a view point peak situated in the 2700masl to enjoy the whole panorama of the National Park including the range of several mountains, they are named Bromo (the volcano), Mt. Batok, Mt. Kursi, and the highest cone of Mt. Semeru in far background. After the photogenic view from the top, jeep trip continue to drive down onto the sandy caldera, here it will parking, while you will take a walk to pass the sand, and the temple before climb up hundreds of stairs which bring you to the edge of crater. Having time on the peak of 2300masl of Mt.Bromo, go back after finish your documentation. Jeep will drive you back to village, the shuttle car will drive you back to Surabaya OR Malang.

After everything has been explored, you will return to the jeep, and return to our hub. Afterward, heading back to your hotel in Surabaya city around 02:00 Pm. It stands at approximately 2,329 meters (7,641 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by a vast, ancient caldera with a diameter of about 10 kilometers (6 miles). The landscape is dominated by volcanic peak, including Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru (the highest peak in Java at 3,676 meters or 12,060 feet), Mount Batok, and Mount Widodaren. Mount Bromo is an active volcano that periodically emits smoke and small ash. It is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, known for its frequent volcanic and seismic activity due to the tectonic plate movements in the region. The area around Mount Bromo is inhabited by the Tenggerese people, who are believed to be descendants of the Majapahit princes. They adhere to a unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions and consider the volcano to be sacred. Each year, they hold the Yadnya Kasada ceremony during the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Javanese calendar, where offerings are thrown into the crater as part of their spiritual beliefs.

The tour starts at midnight from Surabaya as the pick up point. The guide will meet you and go to Cemoro Lawang village. The first step, we went to the hills to witness the sunrise from the deck. While waiting for the sun to come, we will serve tea or coffee to fight the cold morning. After that we went to a sand dune with Jeep 4WD to hike to the summit of Mount Bromo. After cek out from Bromo Area we continue to Bondowoso city where we will stay overnight before Mount Ijen. Starting at midnight from the hotel, the guide will bring us to Paltuding hub or Ijen Starting Area (1,5 Hours Drive). After preparation is done, let's hike, lead by a local guide to Mount Ijen. Mount Ijen is famous for the natural phenomenon “blue Flame” which comes out from the rim of the caldera. In Mount Ijen the visitors must walk to reach the summit about 2 kilometers away, with 30 - 45 degree of elevation. On the top of the mountain Ijen has a beautiful crater with green and blue colors. On the other side, we can find a lot of work in the sulphur mine. The tour will finish after hiking in Mount Ijen, you can take 2 options of that, transfer to Ketapang Port if you go to Bali or Back to Surabaya.
