We had an excellent day with a very friendly, interesting and knowledgeable guide, Stephan. He was happy to go at our pace, and knew the best places to stop for photo opportunities with incredible views in the background. The hot berry juice and nuts overlooking Preikestolen, and the coffee at the end, were great too! We were a bit apprehensive when we discovered we were the only two people on the trip, but conversation flowed freely throughout the day. By the end of the hike, we felt like he was a friend. Thank you for helping to make our trip to Preikestolen a very memorable one, Stephan!
Yesterday, I went on a hiking tour to Preikestolen, and it was absolutely incredible! I've dreamed of visiting the Norwegian fjords since I was a child, and my dream finally came true. Although I booked a group tour, I ended up being the only participant, which I was actually very happy about. A huge thank you to the company for not canceling my tour. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my guide, Erlend Berne. We spent five amazing hours talking about all kinds of topics. He made the hike much easier, showed me the best photo spots, and even took some fantastic pictures of me. Plus, he has an adorable dog named Balder. If you get the chance, definitely do the trail with them – they're both amazing!
