Overall rating
We had a fantastic safari day. Although we didn't see all of the Big 5, we did see three of them. Our guide knew a few spots where the chances of seeing lions and other animals were very high, but these are still free and wild animals that don't pay attention to humans. And that's a good thing, because it makes it all the more exciting when you do find the Big 5. It was also great how our guide could imitate animal sounds, making it seem like he was communicating with zebras, monkeys, and other animals. A big thank you also for the birthday surprise, which made this safari twice as memorable.
We had a fantastic time on this tour, where we saw three families of hippos, a crocodile, lots of bird species and, of course, the beautiful scenery of the lake itself. Thobile was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our (many!) questions. We’d happily take this tour again if we had more time in St Lucia.
It was 10/10, they gifted us snacks and beverages during the trip and took us through the backroads to cut traffic along with beautiful views!! Would definitely do again!
Didn't see all of the Big 5, but it was simply amazing. Great food and an excellent guide. Stunning views of the landscape. Be sure to bring binoculars.
