Our Captain Mario and First mate Orlando were both very knowledgeable of the area and helpful with excellent service during the boat cruise around Capri Island, giving us tips on things to do in our free time there. Also served as photographers for everyone and great music onboard. Two great personalities enjoying their ‘jobs’ and taking care of business at the same time. We had perfect warm weather and calm seas which made for a great day. Will recommend this trip to friends who will be traveling there later this year.

The boat trip was AMAZING we didn’t get to go to the blue grotto, however you can wander down by foot and get in during free time if you wanted. We instead had a really long tour around the whole of capri island with numerous stop offs and explanations about the places we were in. We were given lots of drinks and snacks, alongside many photo opportunities. Free time gives you more than enough time to explore the island of capri and the trip back finished with a limoncello shot which was a nice touch. We had our trip rearranged to a day early as the weather on the day we had booked was wet and windy, the company rearranged our tour seamlessly and gave complimentary pick up and drop off from our AirBnB. If you’re contemplating booking… DO IT!

Full description

Soak up coastal views of Sorrento on a relaxing boat trip to the island of Capri. Swim and snorkel in the crystal waters with the gear provided and enjoy drinks and snacks on board. After a guided cruise with swim stops, get free time to explore the island of Capri at your own pace.

Start with a short briefing, and then head off on a scenic cruise to the island of Capri. Departing from Marina Grande, pass by Regina’s Giovanna Baths and enjoy views of the Ancient Roman Villa Pollio.

As you approach the Isle of Capri, see the statue of the Scugnizzo, the Grotta del Corallo, the Grotta Bianca, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, the Faraglioni, the Bay of Marina Piccola, the Grotta Verde, and the Lighthouse at Punta Carena.

After cruising around the island, get 4 hours of free time to visit the center of Capri. Head to Piazza Umberto I, better known as the Piazzetta, a small square dominated by the profile of the island's Monte Solaro. Explore the heart of Capri's social life.

In the late afternoon, get back onboard and cruise slowly back to the mainland, leaving the legendary island behind.

  • 3. The visit at the Blue Grotto is subject to favorable sea and weather conditions. It is possible that the Grotto will be closed if the sea and weather conditions are not good enough.
  • **During the peak season, due to the high number of visitors, the waiting time to enter to the Blue Grotto may be up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Nevertheless the boat will only wait a maximum time of 30 minutes in front of the Blue Grotto during this tour in order to comply with all the stages of the tour. Blue Grotto staff usually ask visitors for a tip, which, however, is not mandatory.
  • 4. This tour requires a good level of physical ability to get on and off the boat.

Our boat cruise was excellent, highly recommend!! There are many tours to choose from and we saw many other boats out on the water exploring Capri but this boat was so fun and I know I made the right choice! Semi private, we had 10 total on ours (all couples) and it didn’t feel crowded at all. The boat has a cushiony bed at the bow and seats to catch all the views! Antonio, our skipper was friendly, funny & a great guide. The lines at the blue grotto were insane long so we all chose to skip it. Definitely a highlight of our trip
