Year-round ferry departures are available from Sliema or Bugibba, with the choice of indoor or outdoor seating on our eco-friendly catamaran ferry. The boat was difficult to spot in the crowded harbor. We were only able to identify it by the staff's T-shirts. Hop-on hop-off is only possible to a limited extent on the island, as the bus makes a large loop, meaning that to see the temple, you first have to travel for more than an hour by bus. We took the public bus. The combined ticket isn't really worth it; the ferry, bus, and entrance fees are cheaper individually. It also makes more sense because it's more flexible in terms of time.

Awful weather, choppy seas, everyone was vomiting. The office changed my ticket from Tuesday to Thursday but didn’t re-send the updated ticket, so the skipper made me stand up the back waiting for the office to call him back while all the good seats were getting taken . Definitely never again!
