Hong Kong: Peak Tram and Sky Terrace 428 Pass

Hong Kong: Peak Tram and Sky Terrace 428 Pass

Experience riding the Peak Tram, one of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways that rises to an altitude of 396 metres or about 1,300 feet above sea level. With over 130 years of service, the Peak Tram has served as an enduring symbol of Hong Kong’s rich heritage and retains its status as one of the country's few remaining historical public transportation systems. As you travel uphill for approximately 10 minutes, observe the optical illusion of buildings seemingly tilting towards Victoria Peak, also known as The Peak. This phenomenon is caused by the tram's steep ascent and the passengers' reclined position. The journey concludes at The Peak Tower, a vibrant hub of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, all set against the backdrop of the city. Upon reaching the summit of Victoria Peak, visit Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong. From this elevated vantage point, delight in panoramic views of the cityscape, Victoria Harbour, and Island South, encompassing towering skyscrapers and picturesque landscapes. With its open-air design, Sky Terrace 428 offers a 360-degree perspective, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beauty of Hong Kong from every angle.

Amazing views Very cammercialised Full of tat shops However you can walk past if not your thing Lovely pub/restaurant called peak lookout just off the main terrace food was amazing and good size portions ££ not bad for somewhere like this. Much nicer than the options inside the tower Some of us chose to walk down, it was a great experience A great trip out

Fabulous! Avoid the crowd who go to the rooftop and take the Lugard Road walk around the peak. It’s quite flat and takes an hour to an hour and a half. It’s truly peaceful and there are amazing views.
