After familiarizing yourself with the ship, the safety on board and settling into your cabin, we’ll bid Tromsø city center farewell and start sailing. Like the juvenile humpback whales and other traveling whales passing into/ through our fjord system. We also keep an eye on land for moose and reindeer, which we commonly see too. We are also pleased to witness the amazing diversity of birdlife of the region. The eagles and cormorants are majestic in their size and wing movement. Other fascinating seabirds as puffins, guillemots, razorbill, little auks, arctic terns and ducks like the eider ducks and long taled ducks, are to mention some. During the period of spring and summer the birdlife is to be real fascinated of.
