Although it takes a whole day, it is worth it to see the whales and the scenery along the way. Just like RIB, we have to gather before 5:30 in the morning. There are several times to go to the toilet before sailing, so remember to go. When we were on the boat, it was too cold and the toilet was sealed, so don't drink too much water. Also, if possible, it is best to go on an empty stomach in the morning, bring some food that can be put in your bag when you go out, and eat at the end of the trip. Remember to take motion sickness medicine one hour before boarding the ship. Otherwise it would be very uncomfortable when the weather is bad, and several people on our boat vomited. This boat is a little further out than the RIB, but the advantage is that if there are no whales you can stay inside the boat where it is warmer. If you want to go out, there are not many people, so you can move around. The guide and the captain were very responsible. Despite the bad weather, the captain still found a group of whales that were breathing. Many RIB companies cancelled their tours that day, and we were one of the few companies still doing whale watching. In general, if you are worried that the weather will affect your trip, but hope that there won’t be too many people, don’t want to change equipment, and want to get closer, you can choose this itinerary.

You can’t enjoy more about the trip with one spend. Firstly, the early morning view of the Fjords, lights sparkling around the drive way with heavy snow. On the going way, the driver is very kind and thoughtful, offered the brief introduction and bus WIFI password. While we reached the SKJ town , all passengers had been relocated to each travel company. Brigitte is very professional on Humpback whales, I m lucky, on the Rib with her. Yes, I did see the humpbacks, the beautiful whale tails, unlucky, could not catch they jump out the water. 3hrs hunting in the ocean, we saw some were verily close to our Rib, almost touching our rib . very excited moment. On way back to the town, the rib was quick exciting like riding a roller coaster on the water. Everyone got wet while off the rib . Just something pity, the back Tromsø bus driver did not provide the bus Wifi After all, it was a perfect trip for me !

Wonderful experience. The guides were super helpful and prepared, lively and friendly. I recommend the adventure for those who suffer from seasickness with due precautions, even if in moments of difficulty the whole crew is available. The bar with free tea and coffee but also provided with other things for a fee. The guides explained the characteristics of the environment and the whales very well and were also available to chat during the trip. Respectful of the whales when we saw them and as enthusiastic as I was to see them for the first time. I would do it again 10,000 times!

An exceptional outing, we were lucky enough to see a pod of orcas and a blue whale in the group. The skipper was very respectful of the animals' space. Thank you.
