We ended up taking the standard Bari walking tour, because our time was changed from 11 to 3:30 and I had thought we would be able to make it. But we got delayed and were unable to make the time. So the vendor was very flexible in making that available to us after we missed it. The tour we took was very good and our tour guide (Alessia) was knowledgeable and very easy to talk to and hear. I wish we hit a few more sights with a few more details but generally I thought it was a good tour and I understand we would have paid less if we didn’t book the archaeologist tour. We missed the end of the tour (the second half left with the street food tour so I felt bad we were not able to give our thanks to the guide!). I’d suggest just sending people off to see the orechetti street after ending the tour. We got stuck in the street because it was pretty crowded. All in all I would recommend this tour company!

The tour itself is very fascinating, even for those who know Bari only vaguely. In addition, Chiara, our guide, was very kind and knowledgeable, answering all our questions with kindness and friendliness. I highly recommend the experience.

The guide (Chiara) was excellent. The perfect blend of information and interest. The tour moved along quickly and the two hours passed by very pleasantly. I would recommend a tour to anyone who has an interest in history in this area.

Being I was the only person who spoke English, I had an archaeology student practically give me a private tour. She was such a delight and unfortunately I don’t remember her name.
