Great tour. Pawan changed the tour to suit our needs and took us to great spots for great pictures. We had a wonderful lunch at a scenic lodge with really nice tasting food and was exceptionally inexpensive. We had 2 different soups and butter chicken. The butter chicken tasted different from what we had in a different area of India, like it's own unique flavors and was very very nice! We wished India would debone their chickens before serving them. Great tour with a guide who speaks exceptionally good English and understands the tourist industry very well. Pawan does several different tours, so if temples isn't your thing, or climbing stairs, look at his other offerings! You can't go wrong.
A ride in the toy train was the icing on the cake for our Shimla trip. Despite an initial setback where the scheduled train was cancelled, our wonderful guide and driver went out of their way to find a way to ensure we still managed to ride the toy train with an alternative train and route. Was an amazing experience. We also managed to see the station master’s office and how the train operates which has not changed since inception. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Shimla’s history and brought it to life. He was flexible and adapted the heritage tour as we had already covered some in another tour the day before. All in all a fabulous tour.
I didn’t do the actual tour because the weather was very stormy. I did however really enjoy the different experiences talking to locals in the library, going around the market and to tea and coffee houses. Sunny was really fun to be around
the walk was brilliant, Pawan was a great guide, very informative. He went above and beyond providing more general support and even assisted us a trip on the toy train. Strongly recommend his tours
Our guide, Dev, made the tour very enjoyable with his knowledge and story telling. Very attentive and just the right level of information provided. Highly recommend the tour!
