Highlighted reviews from other travelers
It was a very exciting new experience. At first, we were a little afraid of the water temperature, but despite the 2-degree temperature, we didn't notice the cold at all, as the drysuit provided great protection. The views of the fissure were impressive, and the water was super clear—you could see for meters—and extremely clean. Our guide, Kevin, was excellent, providing great explanations and being very friendly and attentive at all times. They also took several photos with a GoPro that turned out really cool. To finish, we had hot chocolate and a chocolate bar, which tasted heavenly. Highly recommended, we would do it again. Vinyet and María.
Definitely the highlight of the trip so far! Vero was excellent as far as giving us clear directions and guidance through the Silfra fissure. She took great pictures for us. The water was incredibly clear and I was not as cold as I thought I would be. We even saw some diving ducks! Overall, the most fun and beautiful experience!
