Bled: kayaking course on the river Sava
If you want to try how it feels to paddle down the river for the first time or if you want to take your previous kayaking skills to the next level, you found what you are looking for. The upper streams of the river Sava provide great playground of multiple sections, with different levels of difficulties. That means, our programs are suitable for total beginners as well as already experienced kayakers, looking for improving their technique. We are providing lessons and guided tours with the proper whitewater kayaks, and inflatable, more stable and easier to control pack-rafts. You can choose from: - Beginner kayaking lessons (2,5 hours of kayaking) - Advanced kayaking lessons (2,5 hours of kayaking) The activity starts at the meeting point in a small village of Srednja Dobrava, which is in a close proximity to one of the main Slovenian highways and towns of Radovljica, Bled, Kranj and Kropa. Your guide will make sure you get all the necessary equipment for whitewater activities (neoprene suit and shoes, helmet, life-jacket, splash-jacket and a spraydeck. After that our driver takes you to the starting point of the section, which depends on your previous experience with whitewater activities. The guide will provide all the necessary information for a safe and comfortable trip. After you complete a 6 km section, we provide a well deserved snack and after the driver takes you back to the meeting point. Requirements: -You should be healthy - due to the risks involved, the activity is not suitable for people with heart conditions and pregnant women, -You need to know how to swim -Children need to be at least 12 years old, with at least one parent/guardian present at the start of the activity, to sign the paperwork. What should you bring: -Swimwear, towel, dry clothes -Water and snacks, especially for kids
