Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge

Day 1: Nairobi– Tsavo East / West You will be picked up by 05:00 hrs. and drive along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway through the semi-arid country to the Tsavo East National Park. You will begin looking for animals on entry into the park passing via Aruba Dam and Kendari Swamp where more animals could be found. Lunch will be served at a stop-over restaurant. You will proceed on to Tsavo West National Park and embark on searching for animals on arrival drive to the direction of the rhino Sanctuary whereby if lucky you may see the black rhino. Other animals likely to be seen are leopards, lions, zebra, hyena, buffalo, elephant, hunting dogs among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge / Camp. Day 2: Tsavo West – Nairobi You will wake up for an early breakfast and depart with a game viewing drive en-route to Mzima Springs for your walking safari tour session. Mzima Spring is the source of the Tsavo River. It’s possible to see the fish, hippos. Crocodiles also can be found within. Lunch will be served at a stopover restaurant outside the park on your way to Mombasa at your cost. Later on, you will depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon drop off at your respective hotel.

On the first day, you will be picked up from Diani or Mombasa at 06:00 and driven directly to Tsavo East National Park. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see iconic wildlife including the famous red elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, giraffes, and lions. Afterward, you will check in and enjoy lunch at Ngutuni Safari Lodge overlooking the waterhole, then proceed on an afternoon game drive with an opportunity to spot waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuks, and a diverse array of bird species, over 500 recorded types. You will return to Ngutuni Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. On the second day, Begin your day with an early morning sanctuary safari at Ngutuni from 06:30 – 08:30 and have an opportunity to observe animals grazing early in the morning. After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West, where you will enjoy a guided nature walk to the waterhole, with chances to see crocodiles and hippos. Lunch will be served at Voyager Ziwani, after which you will return to Ngutuni for dinner. On the last day, you will start with an early morning game drive from 06:30 to 08:30 within the sanctuary. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out as your safari adventure concludes.

Day 1: Mombasa - Taita Hills Game Sanctuary Depart from your beach hotel in Mombasa and travel to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Enjoy a game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Lodge, have lunch and relax for a while. Then, head out for a game drive in the sanctuary to search for lions and other wildlife until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge/ Taita hills resort. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavels sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you with a panoramic view of the sanctuary, offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife. Day 2: Taita Hills Game Sanctuary - Mombasa Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a half-day game drive. Around noon, depart for Mombasa, taking part in a game drive and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa, be dropped off at your beach hotel.

Day 1 Mombasa / Diani/Nairobi - Tsavo East You will be picked from your Hotel at 6:00 am in the morning, drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway and arrive at Buchuma gate in Tsavo East at around 10:00 am. Here you will begin your game drive. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by the British Army 1952 during Colonial time.) You will see many elephants, man eating lions, buffaloes, zebras etc. You will continue the game drive upto 1:30 pm when you will go to the lodge (lion hills lodge/Voi safari lodge) where you will check in and have lunch. After lunch you relax for 2 hours and then head out for a game drive in the park searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazelles, Giraffes and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2 Tsavo East – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Tsavo east National park. Around 10:00 am you will leave the park and head to Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary. You will arrive at Taita Hills at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at Taita Hills Resort. After lunch you will go to Saltlick Lodge, check in and relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the sanctuary until sunset. You come back to the Saltlick Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 3 Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Amboseli National Park Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazelles, Giraffes and other wildlife until 9:30 am when You shall leave the sanctuary and start the journey to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at Amboseli at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at AA lodge/Sentrim Amboseli lodge where you will also check in. After lunch you will relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the game park until sunset. You come back to the Lodge/camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 4 Amboseli National Park - Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazelles, Giraffes and other wildlife until 9:00 am when You shall leave the sanctuary and start the journey back to Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi at around 4:00 pm you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is the end of your safari

The journey takes you through lovely sceneries in the eastern part of Kenya, sight-seeing wild animals on the way and the different cultural setting of the community around. After a 5-hr drive you will arrive at Voi town, where you will branch and head straight to the Taita hills main gate. You will do a game drive enroute to the Taita hills resort and spa for lunch, where variety of delicacies are served at the main dining area with a lot of ambience After lunch, drive and arrive at the famous Saltlick safari Lodge, check in and then depart for a game viewing drive. This private sanctuary is located right next to Tsavo West, so it’s an easy hop to get here. The landscape in this park is more verdant than Tsavo, and the game viewing is every bit as good. The sanctuary offers good bird watching but that isn’t Taita Hills’ main attraction. A unique aspect of this small park is the rangers here usually have a very good idea where the larger animals can be found. It’s not unheard of for safari-goers to spot over a dozen species on a game drive. You will check out of your hotel and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s famous wildlife destinations known for its large herds of elephants with impressive tusks and spectacular views created by the snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. When you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge then have lunch. In the afternoon you will head to the park for a game drive. After early morning breakfast at your lodge then head to Amboseli national park for a full day of exploration, Amboseli national park is a home to a wide range of wildlife species such as large herds of African elephants, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and many more which you will spot while on the full game drive. At lunch you will either drive back to your lodge or have picnic lunch set in the grasslands of the park, after lunch you will have another game drive exploring more of Amboseli national park. Have breakfast, checkout of your lodge and go for an en-route game drive as you head to Tsavo West national park. On arrival you will have lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive, Tsavo West national park is a famous Kenya destination known for various species of animals and geological features most especially in the northern section of the park such as Mzima Springs. On the game drive you will have an opportunity to view many animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, gazelles and crocodile sat Mzima springs. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge. Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park.
