Fantastic day! I had debated whether or not such a long day from San Salvador to Copan was worth it. Yes, it was! The ruinas are spectacular - much bigger than I expected & more artistic than other Mayan sites. Eduardo was the best guide. Took care of me at all the border crossings! Always felt safe as a solo female traveler with him. Do this tour!
This was a long day but extremely worth it. The ruins at Copan were simply amazing. I was picked up at my hotel on time. The guide provided me with a lot of interesting information about El Salvador when I was en route to Honduras. The tour I received at the ruins was extremely thorough and excellent. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Central America.
