The day trip was excellent, we have Maurizio as our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, landscape and geology of the areas that we visited and was always on hand to answer questions or support the group. We were lucky with the weather and visibility and were able to see flamingos, vicunas, guanaco, an eagle and other smaller wildlife like a Chilean chinchilla, rabbits and mice. The landscape views were incredible throughout and Maurizio and the driver were very accommodating for us to take in the views and grab great photo where possible.
A really worthwhile tour. Lots of fascinating sights to see, volcanoes, lagoons, saltflats, Martian landscapes, flamingos, vicuñas and more. Excellent and knowledgeable guide. If you only have time for one tour in Atacama, this is the one to go on. A great day out and good value.
