Schedule and Travel Logistics
Pick-up confirmation: On the morning of your trip, one of our travel advisors will contact you (via WhatsApp, phone call, or email) to confirm your exact pick-up time, based on your hotel location and estimated traffic conditions.

Trip departure:

We begin picking up passengers around 1:30 PM, starting from hotels located in downtown San José.

Then we continue to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). If you're at the airport, our driver will meet you there around 2:30 PM, either at the arrivals area or a pre-arranged meeting point.

During the Journey
The drive to La Fortuna takes approximately 3 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

Midway through the trip, we’ll make a convenient stop where you’ll have the chance to:

Arrival in La Fortuna
We expect to arrive in La Fortuna around 5:30 PM.

If your hotel is located within the area known as Zone 1 of La Fortuna, we’ll drop you off directly at the hotel reception.

If your hotel is located outside this area, we’ll gladly arrange a nearby drop-off point or inform you of any necessary adjustments.

Great value for money. This is a long four hour journey down winding roads from San Jose Airport to La Fortuna. The driver stopped halfway at a beautiful rest stop with a scenic overlook for 30 minutes so we can get snacks, drinks and stretch our legs. Great value for money. Cheapest shuttle I could find. Shuttle took me right to my hotel.
