Full description

The tour begins with pick-up at your hotel in Salta and then you will embark on a half-day sightseeing tour to see the charming city's highlights and experience its everyday vibe.

Visit the 19th-century, neoclassical cathedral and the Historical Museum of the North at the Salta Cabildo, where exhibitions of sacred art summarize centuries of Argentinian and South American history. Admire the Church of San Francisco and San Bernardo Convent, and ascend the Cerro San Bernardo for outstanding views of the city from the top of the hill.

Go to the beautiful village of San Lorenzo, and end with a visit to an artisan market where craftspeople from all over the province display their handicrafts. Along the way, learn more about the city from a friendly guide.

It seemed poor to me. We did not enter any historical place. We wasted about 1 hour going to Villa San Lorenzo to a normal gastronomic place.

Booked this bilingual tour to learn more about the city. As I was the only English speaker who booked on at the time, the guide I had was Spanish only (for everyone else). With no option of withdrawal, I sat in a car for 4 hours and got driven around not having a clue what was happening and just didn't have a great time at all. Also the ad said 3 hours, so that last hour dragged on, as I was well done with the tour by then. I know a little bit of Spanish, but not enough for a fast talking guided tour. Giving it 2 and not 1 because it must of been a good tour guide, everyone else was laughing and having a great time. Next time I'll just download some facts and go for a longer walk myself
