That was the highlight of my trip to SLC. Mostly because we had such a wonderful guide: Dimy/Dimitri. He explained everything from A to Z about the state of UT: natural resources, different styles of living/religion, .... Dimy went above & beyond with detailed explanations. Then our group of 5 enjoyed so much the visit of the Flats, by taking time for X photos, the hike to admire the Bonnevile valley. At the beginning, I was sceptical about the 2-hour drive but it really flew by, Thanks to the comments from our tour guide. I t was a wonderful day. Thank you Dimy! Merci!

Begin your sightseeing tour with a convenient pickup in Salt Lake City and hop aboard a comfortable van. Then, set out towards the Bonneville Salt Flats, one of the flattest places on earth. Discover a unique natural landscape that spans the vast space of approximately 30,000 acres. Delve into the history of this place and learn what makes the salt flats so legendary. Hear about the land speed racing events that take place here and find out about the legendary feats of speeds that have been achieved. Walk along the seemingly endless salt crust and capture panoramic photos of the awe-inspiring flatness. Your tour also takes you past the Great Salt Lake State Park and Karl Momen's Tree of Life sculpture. Enjoy views of the Great Salt Lake, the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere, and snap photos of the iconic artwork set against the harsh landscape. Our driver Dominic was a) very courteous and passionate , b) explained us background of the salt flats, c) helped us explore places that we wouldn’t have done ourselves and d) made the trip memorable!!! We were a group of 5 and all of us collectively felt that choosing this day trip ( instead of driving ourselves) was the right choice!!!
