Visit the interpretation center with its interactive exhibits and displays, and follow the harrowing life of a convict. Enjoy a cruise on Carnarvon Bay around the Isle of the Dead. Purchase lunch with plenty of time for quiet contemplation in the beautifully maintained gardens and to explore the many restored historic buildings of Port Arthur. Ask your driver about the optional, included remarkable cave tour. On our return to Hobart, enjoy a brief stop at Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry where you can indulge the senses and browse a selection of hand-made chocolate gifts using the finest Belgian coverture chocolate. On Saturdays, the tour includes a visit to Hobart’s Salamanca Market. Delight in a shopping experience at this popular, colorful outdoor marketplace. You'll have time to explore the market at leisure for approximately 2 hours. Then, you will need to meet your bus at 11:00 to continue on with the Port Arthur tour and get a sense of Australia’s convict era and the early settlement of Tasmania. The Saturday tour does not include the cave tour, visit to Richmond or Chocolate Foundry.

One can’t say that they’ve truly explored Tasmania without visiting the big three: Hobart, Port Arthur and Bruny Island. This three-day tour will make sure you get the full Tassie experience by guiding you on an epic journey around Tasmania's south. Day 1: Start your three day tour by meeting your fun and friendly driver/guide. After a short meet and greet, you will set-off on your Tasmanian adventure. Your first day on the tour aims to show you all of Hobart's key attractions. Some of the highlights are Mt Wellington, Bonorong, Richmond, a city highlights tour and Salamanca market (Saturday only). Day 2: Bruny island - Arguably Tasmania's best day trip! This magical Island has a little piece of everything Tasmania has: World class beaches, rugged coastline and native wildlife matched with the finest local produce from the ocean and the land, a tour you do not want to miss! You will see firsthand why Bruny Island is fast becoming one of Tasmania’s most popular tourist destinations. Day 3: The Port Arthur tour includes a direct bus trip to the historic site where you will have 4-hours to explore at your own pace. This 7-hour round trip departs Hobart at 10:30 AM, getting back at around 5:30 PM.

This world class market offers the best of Tassie culture - art, produce, buskers, souvenirs, beverages and much more.  After 90 minutes of exploring the markets (Saturdays only), enjoy a quick stop and a delicious free cheese sampling at the award-winning Wicked Cheese. Explore their large range of local homemade products and witness some behind the scenes cheese making. We will then make our way to Richmond, an iconic township rich in convict history, sandstone and colonial buildings and home to Australia’s oldest bridge and catholic church. We then make our way down to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where you can hand feed kangaroos and get up close and personal with all the unique Tasmanian Wildlife including the famous Tasmanian Devil. This is an absolute highlight, even for a local! 

This two-day adventure covers all the attractions and destinations you must see in Hobart. Perfect for the traveler on a mission to see as much as possible while in Hobart at an affordable price. Up there you will have 30 minutes to explore the short boardwalks lookouts or spend your time in the observation and information shelter. Step back in time as you explore Richmond, a quaint little township nestled in the heart of the Coal Valley wine region. Walk the streets of this iconic township which is rich in convict history, sandstone colonial buildings and home to Australia’s oldest bridge, catholic church and oldest intact gaol. A great place to sample some local food and wine, have some lunch and visit the many quaint local art and craft shops. A city loop with fully guided commentary as we drive you around the streets of nipaluna (Hobart). It covers all the important locations and landmarks across the Hobart CBD and beyond. Expect to see Salamanca Place, Parliament House, Cascade Brewery, Female Factory, Battery Point, Tasman Bridge and many more. On Saturday's (only) we will have a 75 minute stop at Hobart's most visited tourist attraction the Salamanca market. With 300 stallholders, the market includes fresh local produce, delicious home grown food and drink and lots of souvenirs, gifts and many handmade products. A true cultural experience.
