The excursions of SP Cruises to Symi start from the Mandraki Harbour of Rhodes every day at 10:00 in the morning. After about two hours we arrive at the beach of Agios Georgios, where we stay for an hour for diving and swimming in its clear blue waters. From there, we depart at 13:00 for Gialos, the main port of Symi, where you will have plenty of time to explore the quaint town and enjoy your lunch at one of its wonderful restaurants (lunch is not included in your cruise fare). We depart from the port of Symi at 16:20 to return to Mandraki harbour at 18:30, after a wonderful day with SP Cruises!

Arrive at St. George’s Bay, an exclusive spot accessible only by boat, where you'll have 1.5 hours to swim in the turquoise waters or snorkel amid the vibrant marine life in this wildly natural bay. Alternatively, relax with a cocktail and soak in the stunning surroundings. At 1:00 PM, set sail again towards Symi's enchanting harbour, renowned for its neoclassical mansions and dramatic mountain backdrop. Disembark in Symi and enjoy three hours exploring the charming harbour area, Yialos, and indulging in lunch at a waterfront taverna. Don't miss trying Symi shrimp, the island's signature dish, before climbing Kali Strata to Horio for panoramic views. Return boarding begins at 4:00 PM for departure at 4:30 PM, arriving back in Rhodes at 6:00 PM; then be transported back to your hotel feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after your day cruise. You will receive an email 24 hours before your trip that contains all important information about the pickup place and time. Please note that for some locations a different but near pick up location will be listed. Transfers will be provided ONLY for bookings made 14 hours before the activity take place. You will be sent a message through Whatsapp or an email around 9:00 p.m the previous day of the cruise that will inform you about the exact place of pickup and any other important details for your pick up. The company does not bear responsibility if the costumer loses its pick up time. Costumers have the responsibility to be on time at the EXACT allocated pick up points that we announce you. Please don’t call asking the pick up time. It will be announced to you before 9pm the previous day of the cruise.

Disembark at Symi and enjoy approximately 3 hours to explore the fishing town on your own. Have lunch at one of the numerous traditional tavernas (at your expense) or swim in the glittering waters. Depart Symi and admire the coastal views as you sail through Saint George’s Bay. (From the end of september and october we will be going to St Georges Bay first as if we go after Symi, the bay will be already shaded and the ocean colours wont be like shown.) Stop for a dip in the crystal clear waters or soak up the sunshine on deck before making your way back to Rhodes. The 3:15 departure does not make a swim stop, only a photo stop. If you come by car at Mandraki Harbour, parking is hard to find so make sure you come at least an hour before.

Enjoy a day trip to the stunning Symi Island and see the Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis, Symi Harbor, neo-classical mansions, cafes, and more. You will board a comfortable boat where you can sit on the deck or inside to experience the journey. Start your experience at the port, where you'll receive your boarding card and a map with information about Symi Island. It takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the island of Symi. You can sit on the deck or inside, wherever you feel is most comfortable. The first stop will be the Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis where you will have approximately 1-hour of free time for your individual visit. You can light a candle or walk around and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this holy place. Continue the boat cruise, following the precise boarding time provided at the front of the boat. Enjoy a scenic 1-hour cruise around the island’s west coast. Every Saturday (from end-June to mid-September) there is an extra stop for swimming 20 min at Nymporio Bay (in good weather conditions). Entering the little harbor of Symi you will be amazed by the colorful houses and many private sailing boats and yachts. You will then have approximately 3.5-4 hours of free time for your visit. Symi village is full of beautiful, neo-classical mansions, folk and art shops, many cafeterias, hospitable taverns, and stalls with sponges and wooden carvings. Feel the authentic atmosphere, have a casual walk through the port, get the fun train for a great drive through Symi town, go for a swim or enjoy a nice meal in one of the many sea-front taverns.

This cruise offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. We stopped off at St George’s Bay for an hour of swimming and snorkeling in pristine turquoise water, pure bliss! Then 3 hours to wander the scenic port of Symi, sampling local cuisine and browsing boutiques. The boat was comfortable, the crew attentive, and hotel transfer seamless. Excellent value, great organisation, and truly one of the best day trips from Rhodes! Huge shout out to the Captain who was so cool & informative on the mic!

Excellent service, boat was fast and smooth, we left the harbour an hour later than the other boats heading to Symi and arrived before them 😂 Symi was out of this world, as if it was from a fairytale and what can I say about St George’s Bay, just magical!

Symi is a beautiful picturesque island and we'll worth a visit. Boat was decent and prices for drinks etc at bar were good. A good day in general and we'll recommended.
