Amazing experience to be able to see and understand how Gaudi was thinking and what he wanted to create.
I loved being free to wander at my own pace for 6 hours from the classical sculpture of the ‘birth and young life of Jesus’ eastern Nativity portal, through the whole complex interior spaces, watching the sun glow colors shift over the day, exploring the bell towers, and finally the more angular abstract sculpture of the western Passion portal as I liked. The information came as I wanted it, when I wanted it, using the audioguide, and augmented that which I’d picked up elsewhere from reading and videos.
