Take in the magnificent city skyline from one of the most iconic buildings in Malaysia. Next, make a photo stop at Merdeka Square (Independence Square) for a look at its diverse architecture, followed by the Istana Negara (King’s Palace), which offers a view of gardens, pools, and courtyards. Lovely tour guide who gave some interesting facts about Kuala Lumpur and the Batu caves. I really enjoyed the stop at the Batik making house. I found the pickup a bit confusing as the bus was on the street opposite Starbucks and no one came to tell us it wasn’t going to be right outside as the ticket suggests. The caves were excellent and transport was great too, we came into some traffic on the way back to KL and it started to rain, the guide gave us ponchos which was great customer service.

The half day tour to Batu caves and Batik factory was very interesting. Our guide explained alot about Malaysian life, history etc. Bus was comfortable. Only downside was delays at start of tour while picking up people.

The cheerful Indian guide Balan spoke clear English and told us a lot about Malaysian culture. The stop at the batik artists' house was a nice addition to the tour.
