We had an unforgettable snowmobile tour! The route was breathtaking, perfectly prepared, and the conditions were just ideal. We were lucky with the weather, which made the experience even better, especially considering the season is coming to an end. A huge shoutout to our guide Juho, who went above and beyond to make the tour amazing. He was incredibly dedicated, funny, and genuinely cared about making sure we have a great time. All in all, a fantastic experience – we’d do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

Full description

This adventure offers you the opportunity to take a snowmobile for a quick spin and master the art of driving these fascinating vehicles. 

You will be driving across the frozen arctic nature, accompanied by an experienced guide, enjoying the magical winter landscapes of Lapland. During the safari, we stop for a short break to enjoy a hot drink and experience the silence of the vast and beautiful Rovaniemi wilderness. Perfect moment to take some photos for the memory. Then we head back to the town.

Know before you go

  • The main meeting place is Safartica Office (Koskikatu 9), 25 MIN. BEFORE THE ACTIVITY STARTS. If you require a different pick-up location, please specify it when booking. We will confirm your meeting time by email accordingly.
  • Missing the meeting time or location will result in a missed safari, which will not be refunded.
  • The driving time is approx. 1-1,5 hours. Driving speed will depend on weather conditions and driving skills of the participants.
  • 2 persons share one snowmobile. A single driving supplement of 55€/person can be purchased by contacting the service provider.
  • Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving license.
  • Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old. Children 4-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile.
  • Not recommended for pregnant women and people with fragile musculoskeletal system.
  • The driver is liable for damages up to 990€/accident. An insurance of 20€ lowers the liability to 150€ and can be purchased on the spot.

Worth every penny. Of the two hour tour, you’re riding about 90 minutes of it. View nice landscapes and go a decent speed. Highly recommend!
