I had a family visitor from the US - she loved it. but as a Rotterdammer of 35 years, I was disappointed. The information about Rotterdam and its history was meager. A lot about the harbor and economic issues, but what about the beautiful Weerhaven, the Monument for victims of the Razzia, Het Park. the beautiful Swan - the Erasmus Bridge and how people stood on the shore to watch it being floated over the river and brought into place! too much time spent in the Waalhaven looking at big old cargo boats, it's okay, but there is more to Rotterdam. Maybe the Harbor Cruise should get on board with more culturally interesting issues. The digging of the bicycle tunnel during the war, Katendrecht was not only a place for prostitution but also a budding setting for Jazz music during wartime. good luck in the future!

Relax and see Rotterdam's most spectacular landmarks as you sail down the Maas River on a round trip boat cruise with live commentary and a bar with drinks and snacks. Find a place inside the cozy salon or sit on the open deck.

Start your cruise from the Parkhaven under the Euromast. The boat will pass by the Sint Jobshaven, the Waalhaven, and the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij, home to Onderzeebootloods. Spot the container ships if you are lucky.

See the famous cruise ship SS Rotterdam and the Hotel New York where the Holland America Line used to be housed. Enjoy the skyline of downtown Rotterdam, as you approach one of the most famous city landmarks, the Erasmus bridge.

The route of the cruise shows you the port , ships parked and the beautiful buildings .You can sit on the top in the open or also down in covered space.The food which you can buy is very tasty and reasonably priced.Overall a great way to experience Rotterdam and start your tour of Rotterdam with this cruise
