Inside the Viking Ship Museum, on display are Viking shipwrecks found in the very fjord where the museum is situated. Should you prefer something else, you might find just that on the local walking street. - After Hillerod the tour goes to the larger town Roskilde for the last stop of the day. - At Roskilde Cathedral your guide will introduce you to some of the history of the cathedral, you will see some of the most distinct Christian monarch's graves, and get a small insight into their impact on Danish history. - The day ends at the Viking Ship Museum at Roskilde Fjord (bay of Roskilde). The museum has a shipyard and a small harbor full of reconstructed Viking ships. Sometimes we are lucky to see a replicated Viking Ship cruising on the water of the fjord.
