Experience spectacular history and enjoy the majestic scenery of high peaks and jagged rock faces on Norway's most memorable railway journey. Encounter Trollveggen, the engineering masterpiece Kylling bridge, and the impressive Verma waterfalls as you travel the route. Start your rail adventure at Åndalsnes station, and be welcomed on on board by the train's hosts. Settle into your seat for the first part of the journey to Bjorli. Peer out of the window to marvel at highlights such as the Troll Wall, the Verma Waterfall. Get your camera ready for the Kylling Bridge, the most photographed railway bridge in Norway. The journey starts at Åndalsnes station, where you will be welcomed on board by our train hosts. The first part of the journey by train takes about 1 hour. In addition to the visual feast of Norway’s stunning nature during the train ride, you will be served with unique stories about the ones who have struggled and lived amongst sharp peaks, fed on the river, and climbed the mountains and you'll get to dive into the historical events of the Second World War, the roots of “the Golden Train”. Moving at a slow pace will allow you the opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the breathtaking natural scenery passing by from the comfort of your window seat. You will get a short break at our final stop at Bjorli train station. Here you can disembark the train and take in the serene beauty of the surrounding nature outside. After a short break, hop back on and continue your incredible journey, as the train is making its way back to Åndalsnes. Hop on board and let’s explore the wonders of the Golden Train together!

We kick off our audio-guided bus tour in Molde, the capital of the province of Romsdal. The city is located on the shoreline of the Romsdalsfjord, surrounded by 222 mostly snow-covered mountain peaks. Embark on a journey that takes you directly to Norway's most famous coastal road, the Atlantic Ocean Road. See a spectacular series of bridges connecting numerous islands and reefs, that was named Norway's Building of the Century in 2005. During a photo stop, you can get up close to see how nature and modern architecture interact. Keep exploring the stunning Hustadvika Coast, with its cliffs, reefs, and sandy beaches. You'll also get to see where Jarlsberg cheese was born, as well as one of Norway's largest natural gas fields. Just before the end of the tour, you'll get to the 407-meter-high Varden viewpoint. During a photo stop, you can enjoy a gorgeous view of the fjord landscape with its many small islands, the town of Molde, and a mountain panorama of the Romsdal Alps. After this stop, we will drive back to the harbor where the tour started.

Our excursion starts in Molde, administrative centre of the county of Romsdal. The city is located on the shores of the Romsdal fjord, surrounded by hills that provide a backdrop of 222 peaks that are covered in snow almost the whole year. Molde is also known as the Town of Roses, thanks to the fragrant rose nurseries that benefit from the mild climate and fertile soil on the sun-drenched slopes surrounding the city. The city still has the same air of calm and tranquillity that convinced Ibsen to make it his home. Our coach will take us through some of the area’s best ski resorts before descending to the village of Eide, overlooking the Kornstadfjord. From here we take the spectacular Atlantic Ocean Road, an engineering marvel that links islands and reefs via a series of bridges. In 2005, it was declared the Norwegian Construction of the Century, the stunning stretch of coast has definitely earned the status of National Tourist Route. We will have a photo stop so that you can admire the bridges, take pictures and have time for a little walk around. We head towards Hustadvika, a stretch of water that can be spectacular to look at when rough sea appears but which is not much loved by sailors. It is full of underwater reefs and little islands. When the weather is beautiful, you might spot seals and whales swimming there. A little further along, we have a photo stop in the delightful fishing village of Bud, overlooking the ocean with views of the Bjørnsund islands. The group of islands were once home to a vibrant, flourishing fishing community, nowadays they are a summer vacation retreat. On our way back to Molde we will travel up and down beautiful hillsides around another delightful natural inlet, the Frænafjord. At the end of the tour we climb to 407 meters above sea level to the Varden viewpoint, where we will have wonderful views over the Romsdalsfjord, the myriad of little islands that lie scattered in front of the city and the mountains (Romsdal alps) on the other side of the fjord.

This 3-hours audio-guided tour will start right next to the harbor. Leaving the center and entering the beautiful Rauma Valley, along the Rauma River filled with salmon and the impressive mountains on both sides, our journey takes us to the first photo stop at the Trollwall. After getting our first impressions of the imposing mountain scenery, we will continue towards Trollstigen. We will cross over the "Sogge Bridge" into the beautiful Isterdal Valley, where the spectacular "Trollstigen" serpentine road begins. Our coach driver will take us up 11 hairpin bends to the plateau, where we will have the next photo stop. From a spectacular lookout, we can see the entire scenery of this impressive mountain road, including the surrounding peaks and the wild Stigfossen waterfall. After a definitely unforgettable time on the top of Trollstigen, the route descends back down to Åndalnes. Begin your journey in Molde, the “City of Roses,” known for its parks and gardens. Travel towards the traditional fishing village of Bud, passing the Romsdalsfjord, Malmefjord, and Elnesvågen, famous for producing Jarlsberg cheese. In Bud, visit the Ergan Coastal Fortress from WWII. Learn about the dramatic history of Bud and take in beautiful views of the village and ocean. Continue along the “bay of shipwrecks,” Hustadvika. Watch the landscape change from fertile countryside to rugged, windblown islets and skerries as you approach the Atlantic Ocean Road. This impressive road features eight bridges, including one that is 23 meters high, winding along the archipelago in a spectacular zig-zag pattern. Stop at Eldhusøya, in the middle of the Atlantic Road. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a local pastry, or walk around the entire islet on a newly constructed walking path. This 10-minute stroll, accessible for everyone, offers an amazing view over the wild and open Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day, you might even spot a whale or a seal on the horizon.

Begin your adventure with a drive to the Troll Wall, Europe’s tallest vertical rock face. Don’t forget to look behind you to see the famous Romsdalshorn. After a photo stop of approximately 15 minutes, the real adventure begins. Drive all the way up Trollstigen (Troll Road), a road built in 1936 with 11 hairpin bends. Every bend has a name, which you can find on the signs placed in every curve. On the side of the road, the mountains the King, the Queen, and the Bishop will be watching over you. At the end of Trollstigen, have another break at the Trollstigen plateau. Here you will find a restaurant, restrooms, a souvenir shop, and a paved path which will lead you to two platforms. Enjoy the stunning view over the valley, Trollstigen, and its surrounding mountains.

Embark on an exhilarating e-bike and hike adventure that seamlessly blends the trill of electric biking with the serenity of a picturesque mountain hike, taking you from the charming town of Åndalsnes to the breathtaking summit of Litlefjellet. This unique outdoor experience promises to satisfy both adrenaline junkies and nature enthusiasts alike. The tour starts with a 15 km bike ride along the fjord from our activity center in Åndalsnes toward Isfjorden and Vejedalen valley. The second stretch is a 1 hour walk on an hiking pass to the summit of Litlefjellet where the view is absolutely worth the effort. After some rest and local snacks at the top we will revers our steps back to the civilization. Duration: 5 hours Distance biking: 30 km (15 km each way) Time hiking - 1 hour, distance hiking - 2 km. This tour starts from the city center of Åndalsnes where you will be picked up by bus. Along the way to Trollstigen, our guide will give you the most interesting stories from the area, both historic events as well as more current situations, such as the big avalanche on top of Trollstigen during the Easter week last year. When on the bus, you have every possibility to just enjoy the view while listening to the guide. On top of Trollstigen, you have almost 1 hour at your own disposal. This will give you the time to walk to the viewpoint, buy something at the kiosk and/or gift shop, or maybe you would like to take a short walk through the beautiful mountain landscape? Afterwards, the bus will descend the curvy Trollstigen road again and drive back Åndalsnes.

A guide will take you up with the gondola and take you on a hike around the top of the mountain. You will be walking on a prepared gravel path, and will be offered a good mix of stories from the region, ranging from 1800-history to current events. If you are lucky you might learn about a few secret, secluded spots where you can find inner peace among majestic mountains. This guided activity includes a return gondola ticket. The Romsdalen Gondola is this years' experience, a shortcut to the fantastic fjord and mountain views of Romsdalen. It takes you 708 height meters from the fjord and up to the mountain Nesaksla, located right above the town of Åndalsnes, surrounded by the famous Romsdalen mountains. The gondola ride is approx. 5 min long. Ready to broaden your knowledge on the Romsdalen region?

Meet up at Åndalsnes Train Station - located next to the Romsdalen gondola station. A local guide will give you an introduction to snowshoeing and help you get fully equipped with snowshoes and sticks, all prepared for a unique experience. When the group is ready, step into Norway's longest gondola and enjoy the 5-minute long ride to the top of mount Nesaksla with 360 degree views. Tighten your snowshoes and step into the white powder! The tour starts slowly and the guide will make sure everyone is comfortable with their equipment. You will be taken to the best photo spots, and you can enjoy the sights of both the Romsdalen Fjord, Rauma River and sharp mountains like Vengetind, Trolltindene and Loftskarstind. Afterwards, you can warm up in the cozy armosphere of Eggen Restaurant 708 m. Here you will be served a hot drink; either tea, coffee or hot chocolate. You can stay as long as you want, and take the gondola down at your own time. The gondola departs every full and half hour.
