Excellent day well organised and fantastic support with messages before and on route to check we had got on the high speed train, Anelliesse was waiting for us on the platform in Naples where we were taken to their offices to be given return information, tickets and to wait for others to join our group. We were then accompanied on the next train to Scavi station and Pompeii entrance then introduced to our guide. Pompeii was amazing however we felt our guide needed more enthusiasm plus we didn’t get the full 2 hours probably due to the downpour of rain. Despite the weather we decided to stay in the site and enjoy the amazing streets and houses it didn’t disappoint, definitely worth a visit but you only scratch the surface as it is huge. On our return journey no issues getting the correct lines however our high speed train broke down so we were delayed for an hour and a half which wasn’t ideal after a tiring day, on reaching Rome platform we were handed a goody bag, overall a fab day.

Remember that at the end of the guided tour you can stay inside the ruins and continue your tour, just don't leave the ruins.
