Since we were based in Delhi and had limited time for sightseeing, we had given up on going to see the Ganges in Varanasi, but we found a tour of Haridwar and Rishikesh upstream of the Ganges and joined it. Although the guide was not Japanese, the English guide KD was very kind and we had a great time! It was my first trip to India, but it was a tour that allowed me to fully enjoy the Indian atmosphere!
Great tour. Nice way to fit in a visit to the foothills of the Himalayas from Delhi in just a couple of days. Guide knowledgeable about Indian culture and religion. The driver Bobby Sharmer was very accommodating and kind. And the tour operator checked in to make sure all was going well. Thanks all!
