This time of year the water level is lower, so class II and III rapids are a bit easy. However this level was fine with us and would be fine for younger kids. No one fell out or even almost fell out. Nevertheless we had a lot of fun, and our guide, Pablo, did a great job of piloting our trip. He also gave us lots of information on the country and it was obvious he cared about his environment. Trip on the way to the put in was rather harrowing going up a very rough, mostly one way road that at times felt like on the edge of a cliff. The driver knew what he was doing. There was a slight mix up on our pickup as we had booked late the night before but when I called 20 minutes after scheduled pick up time, they admitted that they missed our pick up, but sent a car to grab us and race to catch up with the van. We appreciate the effort. Would recommend this activity.

We had a wonderful time and saw SO much wildlife! Eddie was a fantastic and gracious tour guide - great stories, easy going and a fun sense of humor! Alejandro was the driver and he was easy going and fun to chat with too. The traditional Costa Rica snack at the end of our tour was a nice treat. Book this tour - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Eddie and Alejandro!!
