Everything pretty much went like clockwork. Ferry check in was quite quick, pleasant indoor seating and nice crossing. Took advice of previous review that coach trip unnecessary and walked into Marmaris along main road for a few hundred yards and then left at sports pitches, skirting private marina. Coach operator looked disappointed but we didn't want guided tour. Also Taxi drivers offer 10 euros to take you from Terminal, but as soon as off main drag it's a pleasant walk and whilst may be 3km via roads to Grand Bazaar took us c. 15 minutes to get to public marina and harbour. Beautiful town, stunning views, lots of pleasant places to eat, drink and shop. Only area we didn't like was Grand Bazaar itself. Spent between 11:00 and 15:45 in Marmaris, back to Ferry Terminal for 16:00, straight through passport control and onto ferry, with trip back equally smooth. Really special day.
Nice day out, the guide tour was great, the food was amazing 👏🏽
