An original and very enjoyable activity near Reykjavík, allowing you to visit this "Lava Tube." The atmosphere and the different colors and layers of rock are impressive. Ice stalagmites can be seen. Well equipped with helmets and headlamps and guided by an expert, we were able to go deep into the cave where the temperature is much lower and there is no sunlight at all. Our guide turned off all the artificial lights (with everyone's permission) to show us total darkness and how our other senses developed once we could no longer see. It was an interesting experience. The bus journey from Reykjavík bus station (BSI) went very smoothly and was on time.

Interesting tour, our guide was really professional and told us many interesting facts about the lava tunnel. She was also very funny! A bit expensive, but I think it’s worthy.
