This was the best excursion I have done (out of 3 since I have been here). Mark is an excellent guide, passionate and native of here, he shows places that are quite unknown to tourists and it is very appreciable! We were a small group in a mini van, we had stops for breakfast and lunch. Plan on about €40 more for the boat and the castle. Nevertheless I highly recommend doing this excursion because he tells the stories very well and he is really friendly. You will see the Highlands and the hairycows (if they are there) but in unknown and non-touristy spots. This is what I found appreciable. Mark is very cultured. Thank you for the authenticity of this tour.

Our guide for the day was Wendy, the bus was very comfortable, and Wendy always made sure we were warm enough! Wendy made the experience very comfortable, as she explained a lot about the sights we were seeing, and Scottish history, which I was grateful for. Also gave us a lot of recommendations about Scotland and specifically Edinburgh. The tour itself was great, loved Anstruther, and would have liked to see more of the fishing villages (Pittenweem and Crail), but St Andrew’s was more charming than I thought it would be, so I enjoyed my time there. On the way back we stopped in Falkland which was nice as well.

We had an amazing experience with our driver, Peter! From start to finish, he made our tour both entertaining and informative. His sense of humor had us laughing the entire time, and his deep knowledge of the area made the trip even more special. Peter not only ensured a smooth and comfortable ride but also shared fascinating facts and stories that brought everything to life. If you’re looking for a guide who is both fun and professional, Peter is the one to ask for! Highly recommended!

Tour guide lady very nice and great driver, with lot of information. The tour cost not included fees for the castles which is not fault of the provider, I just found it strange. The Lallybroch castle charge with fees just to enter the ground, not possible to enter inside...

Excellent trip. We were so lucky to have such a bus driver " Marc " with that much of information and love to his land. We touched the Scottish history, songs, culture...thank you very much.
