The trip turned out to be a private trip and our Guido Omar joined us in Stonetown. He even spoke German, answered questions and stayed discreetly in the background and gave us our space - big praise. We took a boat from Stonetown to Prison Island in 15 minutes. On site he provided us with information during a walk. We were able to visit the museum. Afterwards we had 20 minutes in the 🐢 area. The animals can move freely on earthy ground and on the paths, except for the "baby section" (enclosure/house). Back in Stonetown we took our taxi to Jozani Forest and had a guided tour with an employee. During a walk we were given a lecture on trees/plants/nature/mangroves in the ecosystem and the animals and monkeys. We saw lots of monkeys. We were lice-treated and examined closely 🐒🫶 Our guide took photos and videos and was simply ❤️. Tip: Don't forget sturdy shoes and mosquito spray
Everything was just perfect! Milano is a great guy and professional person, very nice to deal with. He was always in touch on Whatsup, all the confirmations, explanations, timings and meeting points were sent in advance very precisely. We had absolutely amazing time with him and all the team on Prison Island and later on Nakupenda. They set up a delicious sea food lunch on the sand bank. Everything went nice and smooth. They took such a good care about us. Highly recommended!
The activity was perfect. Well organized, good transportation with an experienced and pleasant guide. Bahama was an excellent guide, describing the stories in a calm and understandable way. The staff was very welcoming, lunch was incredible with plenty of seafood. The sandbar was very beautiful. On Prison Island I saw the 200-year-old giant tortoise. Incredible! I recommend it.
Cool experience - a visit to Prison Island and the Sandbank. Our guide Milano was helpful and fun - and a very popular man, everyone knew him! This tour is a great chance to mix with other travellers.
Our tour guide Ali was great, he showed us a lot and explained things to us! Transport and pick-up also worked perfectly. We can recommend the tour, top value for money🥰
