Visit Pilanesberg Game Reserve on a full-day safari from Johannesburg, where over 7000 animals roam freely. A total of 4.5 to 5 hours are spent on Game Drives. During the heat of the day, sit down for an hour-long delectable lunch at one of the many rest camps in the Game Reserve. After lunch, depart on an afternoon safari drive in an open vehicle. Ask your guide any questions you might have about the animals and the natural environment. Leave Pilanesberg in the late afternoon to get back to your hotel in Johannesburg before sunset.

The cruise includes a 1 Hour experience, no catering with cash bar onboard. Cruise Times: 12h15 / 16h00 / 17h15 Enjoy a delicious cocktail or something to eat at our Zanzibar Beach Cafe before or after your cruise. Departing from Harties Harbour in Kommando Nek Resort, we cruise towards Pecanwood Estate and further down past the Islands towards the bridge. We cross the dam and then continue past Caribbean Estate and then Kosmos all the way close to the dam wall. Our return takes in the zoo and Yacht Club.

Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Johannesburg and set off on your guided tour of Pretoria. Your guide will escort you to some of the city’s highlights in an air-conditioned vehicle. You will begin with a visit to the Union Buildings, the official Seat of the National Government and a South African National Heritage Site. Next, you will visit the Paul Kruger House. Kruger was a resistance leader and key figure in the Transvaal War against the British in 1880-1881. In 1882, at the age of 57, Kruger was elected President of the Transvaal and later took up residence at Kruger House in Pretoria. Your next stop is the Voortrekker Monument, situated in a nature reserve in the Pretoria (Tshwane) area. It commemorates the pioneering spirit of Afrikaners, and is one of the most popular heritage sites in South Africa. On your last stop, you will head to the Cullinan Diamond Mine, where you will enjoy a guided surface tour of the mine and have the opportunity to purchase one of these rare and beautiful stones before returning to your accommodation.  

Embark on a cruise on Hartbeespoort Dam near Johannesburg and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes as you savor a buffet of hot and cold gourmet finger foods served at your table. Your cruise aboard the Alba begins as you arrive at the meeting point. Before boarding the boat, enjoy canapes and a glass of sparkling wine served on the lawn overlooking the water. Then, step aboard the luxurious vessel and take a seat at one of the tables. Sit back and relax as the Alba gently navigates out of the harbor and be welcomed aboard by your captain and crew. Admire the view through the boat's wrap-around glass walls as you cruise to De Rust. Pass by impressive waterfront homes with private jetties and other luxury features and enjoy the first course of your meal, a selection of finger foods. The culinary service continues with dish after dish of tasty fare as you cruise past the old Meerhof Railway Bridge before hitting open water. Continue past the Transvaal Yacht Club and the Zoo before heading towards Hartbeespoort’s own Arc De Triumph Archway located on the dam wall. Round out your meal with a decadent dessert before heading back to the port where your tour comes to an end.

Day 2: Wake at dawn and listen to the birdsong before commencing morning game drive in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Savor a hearty breakfast, then continue to a watering hole to see hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds before a midday rest. Dine at Skukuza Camp along the Sabie River, then embark on an afternoon drive. Overnight at Tembo Guest Lodge. Day 3: Embark on an early morning game drive seeking elusive wildlife hiding in the bush. Browse local shops before your return journey, taking in magnificent farmland views. Stop for lunch in the Highveld region en route to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your hotel or airport by 5:00 PM.

Pretoria city is the administrative capital of South Africa and is known as the "Jacaranda City”, mainly for its jacaranda-lined avenues and fascinated architecture. Whilst here you can visit historical monuments such as the Paul Kruger house which was built in 1884. Paul Kruger was the leading man in the Transvaal War against Britain between 1889-1891. Paul Kruger was then elected the President of the Zui-Afrikaansche Republiek and took up residence at Kruger House in Pretoria. The Voortrekker Monument is situated in Pretoria in a nature reserve, it is a Monument that commemorates the history of South Africa and the history of the Afrikaners, not forgetting the Union Buildings (Closed on weekends and public holidays) which house the offices of the president and are located in Tshwane. Union Building is not situated in the center of Pretoria, but is situated rather in the highest point of Pretoria and is a South African national heritage site.

Make a trip to the must-see tourist destination, Lion & Safari Park, situated only 13km from Lanseria Airport and only 40min from Johannesburg. Enjoy amazing views as it is nestled in the beautiful Magaliesberg mountain range and also within the Cradle of Humankind, a world UNESCO heritage site. This self-drive option allows you you get up close to the predators and other wildlife. No guide is provided so you can drive with your family and friends in your own time through the lion, wild dog, and cheetah enclosures as well as an extended game drive to view antelope and other species. You can watch the lion feeding at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM on weekends and public holidays.

Experience Africa’s lions in their natural environment. Observe their behavior and interaction with each other as well as with the natural environment. Our experienced and trained guides will accompany and inform you during the walk. You will be allowed to walk freely with the lions, but not be allowed to touch the lions while on the walk. Expect an unforgettable wildlife experience in the African bush! Included: Tea, coffee & light refreshments, walk to the new Lion bush deck and dam in the natural bush from where you will be able to view/observe our young lions in their natural environment. You can also choose an option to view the reserve and animals in a closed minibus vehicle. You will be picked up from your hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria and transported safely to Pilanesberg. Drive past the scenic Hartebeestpoortdam and the Magaliesberg Mountains. Upon arrival at Pilanesberg you will switch vehicles to an open safari vehicle. Your guide of the open vehicle will drive you through the Nature Reserve and guide you on the animals that crosses your path. You will have lunch and then continue with your open safari adventure. Enjoy excellent game viewing opportunities in a malaria-free climate. When your safari is finished you will switch back to your closed vehicle and you will be transported back to your hotel safely.
