Prambanan

An excellent day with our wonderful guide Tony. Tony drove us safely in his very comfortable car. During the journey to each location he taught us about the history and culture of Indonesia and it's people. He gave recommendations for our time in Yogyakarta. We even had an Indonesian lesson. A lovely man, very easy to talk to and we had a good laugh. I wish you and your family all the best. Both locations were breathtakingly beautiful. Although entry is expensive, you can see how the money is being used to maintain and renovate the grounds. We really enjoyed learning the history of these sites. I recommend paying the extra for the guided tours. Both of our guides were very informative. At prambanan in particular the guide was really locely-sorry I don't remember his name!
