After your pick-up from either Thessaloniki Port (08:45) or Aristotelous Square (09:00), we will enjoy a tour of the city, guided by our experienced English-speaking tour leader. Our first stop will be the iconic White Tower, where you can capture a photo of this centuries-old symbol of Thessaloniki. Following the picture taking we will head to the Alexander the Great Monument, a statue made as a tribute to the famous ancient Greek figure, before visiting the striking Umbrellas installation, an artistic landmark along the waterfront. Right afterwards we will take a short drive to the Castles, where you’ll learn about the city's medieval history, followed by a visit to the Rotonda, an ancient Roman monument declared as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continuing our tour, we’ll discover Agia Sophia Church, a Byzantine masterpiece that offers fascinating insights into Thessaloniki's religious history. Our tour will then take us to the Eleftherios Venizelos Metro Station, that is also a high-importance archaeological site in the heart of the city. Afterward, you’ll have approximately one hour of free time in Aristotelous Square, where you can relax, shop, or simply take in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. At the end of our tour, we will return you to Thessaloniki Port, completing a day full of memorable discoveries.
