What a brilliant day out! I recommend you buy the extra excursions on board from the tour guides, you get a good discount for purchasing them all. The whole day was well planned, our guide was very informative on the trip over and we had audio from him during the additional boat trips and sight seeing. Brilliant really enjoyed , guides knowledge was excellent, we paid for full excursion transfer 👍🏻food good enjoyed 👍🏻gondola trip good 👍🏻river taxi back class 👍🏻 Had about an hour and half to kill ( plenty enuf as redicoulously hot 40’) but didn’t wander too far as could easily get lost , the street with designer shops was an eye opener How the other half live 10/10 from us

Full description

Travel to Venice by high-speed catamaran transfer from Porec. Discover old squares, stunning palaces, churches, and galleries as you explore the city.

Board the catamaran in the port of Porec and head to Venice. On the catamaran sails out, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a short introduction to Venice. You'll also be offered some optional services such as gondola rides, taxi boat rides, lunch, and more.

As you approach Venice, you’ll have views of the islands in the lagoon and a panoramic view of the city. Disembark, and from that point, you can explore the city at your leisure.

Take a short walk to Piazza San Marco. From there, you can head into the maze of streets off the square. Enjoy a gondola ride along the canals. Try some of the city’s fine cuisine. If you like, you can visit one of the Murano glass workshops and see the glassmaking process.

At 4:30 PM, the catamaran departs Venice. The excursion ends back in the port of Porec.

  • - Passengers purchasing one way or return tickets are entitled to carry: 1 checked-in luggage not more than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm in size and 10kg in weight. Excess luggage can be booked at booking stage at an additional cost of €5.00 per luggage per leg.
  • - Bicycles are additional cost of €10.00 per bicycle. Bicycles can be reserved at booking stage or during check-in. The Ships have limited spaces for bicycles so prior announcement is advised.
  • - E-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed aboard our vessels.
  • - If you are travelling with your pets please be sure to be in possession of the international passport for animals. All dogs must be in possession of a leash and a mouth muzzle. All animals have to be announced at time of booking.
  • Please be aware that your pet will not necessarily be kept in the seating area.
  • Pets are subject to an additional cost of €10.00 per pet.

Really nice cruise - it takes around 3h/3,5h to Venice one way. We arrived at 10:30 and the return was at 16:30. You need to be at San Basilio at 16:00 so there's time to go though control. The guides - Sandra, Dorota and Ziga were really nice - the Kompas company provided additional attractions (extra paid) so you can chęci Venice with them or you can do it on your own. We room a taxi from San Marco to San Basilio with Kompas so we could directly Reach the stadion and ship. The taxi was 33 EUR per person. As for a one day trip to Venice we saw everything we wanted - so i recommend to take IT! :)
