Overall rating
With so many companies offering this experience I could not recommend this specific one more. The main reason being our guide Bidur! He was more than perfect, even to the point of swapping bags to carry the heaviest weight himself and at times carrying both mine and his. He made sure we were always safe and well looked after. The views and villages are incredible and the people you meet along the way are a highlight as well. Our favourite tea house was the Himalaya Guest house, if you get to stay there you will have an incredible time with them. Along the way be sure to get biscuits for the fury guides, we had dogs walk with us leading the way for hours to different villages before they turned back to lead hikers walking the other direction. This hike is a challenge, but you will make life long memories and be so proud when you finish. A side note, we went in the wet season not the peak season and as you can see the only thing we missed out on was the crowds of other people.
The tour is really worthwhile, Rupesh Gurung is a great guy, the tour day I was arrived early from Kathmandu by bus, he was so patient and wait for my bus to arrive even was late a little bit, he came to pick me up from the bus station, and then heading by private car to the sunset spot. It was so clear, No hiding expenses just the paid amount online + 60 Nepali rupees for the entrance. He is knowledgeable and funny, gives a lot of information about the local mountains/culture and about Nepal in general. The tour was so comfortable since it’s done by private car, and the sunrise view up is stunning, the mountains view is close and clear at sunrise time. After the tour is done he was kind to drop me on the lake spot that I had chosen to have my own walk around the lake. I highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing experience with our Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Nepal thanks to Cordial Trek especially to our tour guide Anil Sherpa and our porter Dorjee. The service was exceptional from start to finish – they are very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the places we visited. They made sure everything ran smoothly and always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and safe. From the breathtaking mountain views to the rich cultural insights, every part of the trip was educational and memorable. We truly appreciated the personal touches and the care shown throughout the journey. Highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Nepal! You’re in great hands with Anil and Dorjee. The experience was truly amazing! The weather could have been better at time, but overall and on average it was definitely an adventure to remember.
