Embark on an easy trek to Poon Hill, a popular viewpoint in the Annapurna region. Enjoy a sunrise panorama of the Himalayan range, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Annapurna South. Discover the villages of Gurung and Magar and their culture, tradition, and hospitality.
Start your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Pokhara and drive to Nayapul. Begin your trek to Poon Hill, the highest point of which is 3210 meters. Spend an hour at the top, admiring the incredible sunrise panorama of the Himalayan range, including Dhaulagiri (8167 meters), Annapurna I (8091 meters), and Annapurna South (7219 meters).
During your adventure, discover the villages of Gurung and Magar and their culture, tradition, and hospitality. Admire the terraced fields and spectacular mountain landscapes. Cross the beautiful villages of Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a large village in Gurung.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Birethati (1h) and trek to Ulleri (2,050m,4/5 hours)
Day 02: Trek to Ghorepani (2,874m,4/5 hours)
Day 03: Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m), trek to Tadapani (2,610m,5 hours)
Day 04: Trek to Ghandruk (2h) and back to Pokhara(820m,3hours)

- Personal clothing and gear.
