Top activity and definitely must do when you're nearby. You do not chase any animals, you go in the water nearby and they will come to you. The animals love to play along you or even with you. You should be somewhat confident in water. Floating devices are available! But when you first jump in you can be a bit nervous (depending on the weather). after a couple of minutes we got more confident and could fully enjoy! There are many animals! Not 10 or 20, but many! So no worries, you will be able to see and 'interact' with them. The guide will provide you with the correct size of wetsuit, fins, protecting gear and snorkle. Guides are nice guys who will inform you well and take there time for you. Groups are no more than 10/guide.

Full description

Go swimming with seals in Plettenberg Bay, a fun and playful experience for all involved. Meet at the local office to take care of the paperwork and pick up all your equipment. Your group will depart by boat from Central Beach aboard the Robberg Express for an exciting beach launch. Head towards Robberg Nature Reserve and Marine Protected Area, home to approximately 8000 Cape fur seals.  

Accompanied by a qualified divemaster, hop into the water and enjoy 30 minutes of amazing animal interaction among bundles of playful, inquisitive fur seals. Have the ultimate wild animal encounter in their natural environment and without altering their natural behaviours.
